Operation "Spiderweb". American officials: there was success, but less than Kyiv reported
During the Ukrainian operation "Spiderweb", drones transported to the territory of the Russian Federation by trucks attacked four Russian air bases. Kiev reported that 41 aircraft were damaged and at least 20 destroyed in the operation. These included Tu-95, Tu-160 and Tu-22 bombers, as well as two A-50 reconnaissance planes and An-12 and Il-78 transport planes.
Ukraine says it has attacked four air bases in Russia using 117 drones launched from containers near the targets. On Wednesday, the SBU released footage of the drones attacking Russian strategic bombers and landing on the radomes of two A-50 reconnaissance planes, of which there are only a few in the Russian fleet.
